Although sound is an integral part of film and television, it is often overlooked in the Philippines compared to other components such as cinematography, editing, acting, and visual effects. Sound design is usually only noticed when it is poorly executed; when done well, it becomes seamless and unnoticeable to viewers. The insight inspired us to create a documentary that provides aspiring filmmakers with an overview of sound design and demonstrates how it can be a powerful tool in film and television. The documentary also explores the current state of sound design in the Philippines.
